KANTAR – ECIPH skill training flagged off by DC Shivamogga

KANTAR, CHD Group, Edward & Cynthia Institute of Public Health(ECIPH) started the skill development training initiative under the flagship of “The Family Pillar Alliance” in joint collaboration with the District Administration, Shivamogga, District Skill Center, Shivamogga and McGann Government District Hospital. This training is focused on young women with the aim to get them skilled in the healthcare sector and to place them into the healthcare and geriatric care industry in India and around the world. The programme is supported as a CSR initiative by KANTAR and the entire training is provided free of cost to young rural women across the entire district of Shivamogga.

Dr. R Selvamani, IAS, Deputy Commissioner – Shivamogga District was the Chief Guest for the programme and he flagged off the launch by motivating the gathering and stressing on the importance on how skills takes precedence in a market driven industry.

Dr. Edmond Fernandes, Founder & CEO, CHD Group spoke about the programme structure, the modules and how this is a game changer in the healthcare sector. He also highlighted that the programme date launch was kept on 15th July, 2022 to mark the timing of the World Youth Skills Day. He motivated all the women colleagues to take up the profession with utmost commitment and seriousness and assured to support placements across the country.

Dr. Kiran, Principal, District Training Center, Dr. Teekya Naik, Assistant Director, District Skill Office, Ms. Cynthia, Finance Controller, CHD Group, Ms Divya Kamath, Skill Development Master Trainer, Edward & Cynthia Institute of Public Health were among others present.
