The focus for the International Women’s Day 2020 this time was on preventive gynaecology which was jointly celebrated by BASF-CHD Group in Mangalore.
Putting women’s well-being and safety at the heart of development, Dr. Joylene Almeida, Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and Member – Working Committee, CHD Group addressed an excited all women gathering on the various facets of women’s health. This comprised of understanding women’s health starting from pubertal changes to menopause, including cancer prevention components, evolutionary changes and also care of the common home in terms of reproduction.
Dr. Edmond Fernandes, CEO, CHD Group introduced the work CHD Group does for strengthening maternal and child health and stressed upon the importance of women leadership in national and regional spaces in-order to bring about greater change in social dynamics.
BASF Site Director, BASF HR Head, Shri. Nataraj and BASF HR Manager Mr. Santhosh besides others were present.
